3일 SBS 8뉴스 보도에 따르면, 지난달 21일 경기도 용인의 한 아파트에서 세 살배기 여아가 같은 아파트 주민이 키우는 12kg짜리 폭스테리어에게 허벅지를 물렸다. 아파트 복도에서 마주치자 말릴 틈도 없이 폭스테리어가 여아에게 달려든 것이다.
견주는 깜짝 놀라며 급히 목줄을 잡아당겼다. 하지만 폭스테리어가 아이를 물고 놓지 않아 함께 끌려가기도 했다. 이 사고로 여아는 흉터가 남을 정도의 상처를 입었다.
이 폭스테리어가 사람을 문 건 이번이 처음이 아니었다. 지난 1월에도 같은 아파트에 사는 초등생을 무는 등 수차례 주민들을 공격했다.
