수많은 소비자의 기대를 한몸에 받는 에어팟3의 예상 스펙과 출시 예정일이 전해졌다.

지난 18일 온라인 매체 테크어드바이저와 맥루머스는 애플 전문 분석가 밍치워 애널리스트의 리포트를 인용해 애플이 내년까지 2가지의 에어팟 모델을 공개할 것이라 전했다.

매체는 "에어팟 2가지 모델이 각각 2019년 4분기와 2020년 1분기에 중국 제조사 룩쉐어에 의해 대량 생산될 것"이라고 전망했다.

특히 2세대에서는 구현되지 않았던 소음 제거(노이즈 캔슬링) 기능이 탑재될 것으로 예상돼 기대가 모인다.

그간 애플이 생체 센서 관련 특허를 획득해오거나 애플워치를 통해 헬스케어 비즈니스에 꾸준히 관심을 가져온 사례가 있어 이같은 기능 추가가 현실이 될 가능성이 높아지고 있다. 

한편 밍치워는 기능 개선이 이뤄지는 모델의 가격이 158달러(한화 약 18만원)가량이 될 것으로 예상했다
